ISO 22000:2005 - Food Safety Management System

Food Safety Management System is an International risk management tool specifically designed for the food industry in order to assure food safety. By this certification Dias Group can demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that farmed fish product is safe at the time of human consumption. The scope of the certification includes all the processes of Dias Group, from Hatchery to distribution of fresh fish

ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System

This Management System gives the requirements for quality management systems and it is the globally implemented standard for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction. Since its foundation, Dias Aquaculture always has been committed to satisfy quality-related requirements. In order to enhance our procedures and to ensure better conformance to our clients' needs we have developed our Quality Management System - ISO 9001:2008 . The scope of the certification includes all the processes of Dias Group, from Hatchery to the distribution of fresh fish.

ISO 14001:2004

This Standard gives the requirements for environmental management systems, confirms its global relevance for organizations wishing to operate in an environmentally sustainable manner. The ISO 14001:2004 Certification according to the environmental standard, constitutes the evidence of Dias engagement for the protection of the environment.

The philosophy of the group for high-quality products through socially responsible procedures had been also been confirmed by Greenpeace Greece, in the annual list for the use of non-genetically modified feed. Dias Aquaculture was the only company of its sector with 100% certification, on this manner.
ENG. Guide overview
The Greenpeace guide, informs consumers about the policy of each Greek “animal product” company about the use of genetically modified organism (G.M.O).
The guide creates a rating scale that classifies companies of each sector on the amount of conformance, to policies against G.M.Os.
The rating is based on:
1. Certificates from official auditors about the non use of G.M.Os
2. Written commitments about the non use of G.M.Os
3. Frequency of analysis on certified laboratories for G.M.Os
4. Intention of “NON GMO” imprint on the Package of the retail products.

IFS -BRC Certification
IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retailer Consortium) are international standards related to food quality and safety, published by retail trade groups.
These standards reinsures clients that food products sold in retail chains are produced and delivered in compliance with the valid legal regulations and in conditions quarantining maintenance of superior quality.
